We starting Framber game 1 on 5 days rest right? Urquidy has to go game 2? Garcia would be on track to start game 3 on Friday. On that track the rotation would be
Game 1: Tuesday Framber 5 days rest
Game 2: Wednesday Urquidy 8 days rest
Game 3: Friday Garcia 6 days rest
Game 4: Saturday Odo/Greinke/Javier ?
Game 5: Sunday Framber
Game 6: Tuesday Urquidy
Game 7: Wednesday Garcia

If the Braves win and the Astros have HFA, I’m flipping Garcia and Urquidy to let Garcia start at home.

Yea I’m with you, I give Garcia as much rest as possible and want to run Urquidy out there ASAP to see if he can make a similar adjustment to what Framber and Luis did.
The Meyers spot will either go to Taylor Jones or Marwin IMO. They have a bunch of left handed relief pitchers, and if you want to use Castro as a pinch hitter just have him hit for Maldy at some point in the 8 hole then go into the game at catcher.
Marwin allows you to use Diaz early in a spot against a lefty and you still have a super utility guy that can play a bunch of positions

Like I said the other day, whistling might be the dumbest thing outside of clapping that you could do to relay a message to the hitter in a playoff fueled ballpark.

But you can't afford to take Yordans bat out of the lineup at this point. Ideally we should have practiced this defensive set up a little more this year knowing this could happen
