Red Sox fans oddly quiet after that call
Posted on 10/18/18 at 8:12 pm to Big Bill
The Astros should have Verlander and Maldonado purposely hit the home plate umpire in the face by ducking at the last second.
You wanna take orders from MLB to blatantly call the game in favor of Boston? That's fine, but be prepared to go to the hospital for it.

You guys have endured some bullshite. This will turn out OK.

This is some bullshite. Blue rings the Stros up twice on the low pitch but sits there with his thumb up his arse when JD gets a low strike

Incredible how every "mistake" benefits the Red Sox. But when a mistake goes against them, MLB makes up rules to go to replay review to correct it.
Posted on 10/18/18 at 8:14 pm to Lsuhoohoo
We're gonna give Price his first W aren't we?
Posted on 10/18/18 at 8:15 pm to ZIGG
My only recourse is the umpire will get fined or graded poorly for that abomination. The pitch was not close.

Extra chances/outs. How many has Boston had in the last 3 games alone?
Posted on 10/18/18 at 8:16 pm to MF Doom
Right now I'd pull for Satan and his 9 diciples over Boston in the WS
Posted on 10/18/18 at 8:17 pm to ZIGG
Lmao and then he calls that low and way away on bregs who might have the best eye in the game
Posted on 10/18/18 at 8:17 pm to Lou Pai
And the low corner! This is incredible!

This strike box makes me hate this mother fricker behind the plate.
Posted on 10/18/18 at 8:18 pm to GRTiger
We are getting fricked on rn by the ump
Posted on 10/18/18 at 8:18 pm to GRTiger
Now the ump is in our heads.
Posted on 10/18/18 at 8:18 pm to GRTiger
This ump is actually turning price into a decent pitcher.

Pitch No. 3, an 0-2 slider, was called a ball by home plate umpire Chris Guccione. Pitch No. 4 was hit out by J.D. Martinez.

and he'll immediately be reimbursed for that fine and congratulated for helping get Boston in to the series.
It's all about TV ratings. The integrity of the game is secondary. Get those big market/bandwagon teams in to the series at all cost.
Posted on 10/18/18 at 8:19 pm to GRTiger
As someone who doesnt normally keep up with mlb this bullshite is hard to watch. The bias is blatant
Posted on 10/18/18 at 8:19 pm to Lsuhoohoo
It's awesome to see Astros fans complain about the umpires.
