I just think Baker is overthinking it I know you want to break up the lefties but dang you got to this point with the lineup of Alvarez and Tucker batting together don’t get cute now

Looking at what Tucker and Abreu have done this postseason, I have no problem with it at all. Believe me, I’m as FODB as the next guy, but I’m not going to stab him just to watch him bleed.

I’ve reached the point I reach in every season where some stuff he does frustrates me, but frick it. You’re 8 wins away and he’s not gonna change at this point. And I don’t think this is that big of a deal

He’s been pretty damn good during the postseason while he’s been our manager. It’s the regular season that drives everyone crazy, and his nonsense almost cost us a playoff spot this season

The Houston version of postseason Dusty Baker has been fine. I’m sure SF, CHC, CIN and WAS fans would disagree but no complaints so far here.
It’s the regular season Dusty Baker that I wish we never had to see again. For those of us who follow the team during the regular season, it’s exasperating.

The only threads that get anchored around here are day-old DATs. A 9-month-old Formula One thread with a first-page reference to the season starting “in a few days” was near the top of the first page of the MSB the other day. But day-old DATs are a problem.

To echo Cliff Booth's sentiments, we should all be thankful for this Lone Star series; the entire baseball media world is salty about it.
