162-324. 324 losses! We were mocked. Ridiculed. An insult to the integrity of the game they said. Guided by our fearless leader Jeff Luhnow, we pushed forward. Never once doubting his war plan or calling him names. And today baws, we begin our quest to take the American League.

Man, I would love to... but I missed two of my son's baseball games by me attending Games 1&2 of ALDS. I head to the Middle East next week and won't be back until the 27th - so I'll also miss the last few games of his season. It wouldn't be a good look for me to miss more games for the Astros considering I'm his team's coach.

That said, I will fly back from the M.E. directly to Houston or Chicago, depending on how the NLCS shakes out and will be at game 4 of the WS.

LMJ are great pieces to have in the middle innings

I love what LMJ brings out of the pen. he has the ability to light a hire under everyone's arse. The swing and miss on that curve is a crowd pleaser

Also, he probably feels a bit slighted which I thought could go either way but his first relief appearance showed he wants to prove himself.

If he doesn't start using his fastball more effectively and in a higher percentage of pitches, hitters are just absolutely going to sit on his curve and those swings and misses are going to decline. It's already beginning to happen.

Maybe but he seemed to fall back on what was working in first pen appearence. Hopefully, he gain confidence in the role.

Man I wish theae Yankee fans would Have their own thread. With as big a bandwagon of lifelong fans from Louisiana as they have you would think they could manage that.

Jim Crane and Jeff Luhnow have no intrrest whatsoever in winning. No interest whatsoever and as long as they are part of this franchise, they will NEVER win anything.
