You shut your whore mouth!

Sometimes I even question if he is a fan. We got no room for this kind of crazy talk here.

I look at the DAT this morning to see we don't even have a new thread for the whole series. This is madness, I say! I don't want the same old memes.

Eh. It's normal.

A new thread isn't started until the day of another game. Until then, we just reply in the same thread. Always been that way. I don't mind.

Someone has forgotten what has worked all year.

Ok, Ok!!! My bad.

But on the rest of it! Out the bad air, in the with good.

I'm going on Saturday. The crowd will be crazy, the roof will be closed, and we will win!!!

Yeah, I've already been reprimanded. Of course, I didn't even get to look till almost lunchtime.

Crazy morning, patients getting sent to the wrong place, crazy relatives bitching, and my boss is gone, so I have to deal with shite that I usually don't. I like to stay in my office and crunch numbers.

Appreciate the passion here but time to chill out on the hysterics and see how it plays out.

I stand by it Lady. I love Minute Maid with the top off and we don't get enough of it. Don't @ me!

Agreed, although I realize not popular with everyone. I’ll never understand why they built a retractable roof if it is never open other than April. They’re even worse about it over at NRG.

use the 50-80 rule and note the wind/rain forecasts like they said. Not to mention the whole point of the quick operation of the roof is to be able to adjust on the fly.

The first few years, they used to open it in the 7th inning for night games.

Went to an early season day game a few years back with the roof open and it was glorious. Same with the MMP college classic last year.

It’s a totally different stadium with the roof open. And while I like MMP well enough with the roof closed and while I grew up loving the Astrodome, I love MMP when it’s open. If it’s not raining, it should be open if the temp is below 85 and above 50.

I’m sure that’s what MMP was like in the 2015 ALDS

I was at the 2015 series against KC -- seemed like it was as loud as any game I've ever been too -- including LSU football.

2017, the first two games against Red Sox were even louder. When Altuve hit his first of 3 HRs... that stadium was the loudest place I can remember -- and I used to live on Barksdale a couple of blocks from the flight line where the B-52s would crank up early in the morning for blasting off.

Can confirm. It was also incredibly loud in 04 and 05. I remember being there for the Jeff Kent walk off Homer off isringhausen in 04. Incredible environment.

The other memory I've got of that 05 NLCS is Julian Tavarez having a meltdown and breaking his hand punching the dugout phone.

I think roof has been open at NRG a couple of times in the last 10 years.

Yes, it's gorgeous to look out and see downtown from MMP. But y'all are the few who want to sweat their asses off.

We open the roof in April. You better go then.

Not at all. Over 80, shut that roof. Friday’s game will start in the high 80s or maybe even 90 so the roof should rightfully be closed.

Saturday? High of 73 predicted now. Who’s sweating?

I was in the park for that one. Center field before the remodel. It was bedlam.
