DP made a claim that more non baseball fans know Tebow than they do Betts, Trout or Judge. Does dp have a valid opinion here?

I only know Trout of those three and have never seen him play live on television. Obviously not a baseball fan. I haven’t heard of the other two guys.

You think non baseball fans know who Mookie Betts is?

Patrick hasn't been relevant since those baseball cards in the late 90s with him and olbermann

He’s right. Outside of Pujols, I couldn’t pick most of the top baseball players out in a lineup.

Gotta be true. Most chicks won’t know either of those 3, but they likely know who Tebow is.

I'll chime in. Not a baseball fan and no clue who you are talking about.

Pujols is no longer near being a top player anymore.

Facial recognition with no name attached—definitely Tebow

Name recognition—Tebow probably still wins. Maybe trout, judge, or Brice Harper. Nope. Tebow still wins

I’m an avid sports fan, but don’t care about baseball. I have no idea who Betts is. Would not even be able to guess a first name.

Yeah. Tebow is more famous than most current NFL QBs. T-Mac was probably more famous than 90% of MLB players that year he spent in the independent league.

He's 100% accurate, although Trout is brought up so often as this undersold living legend that I'm starting to think his popularity is underrated.

Harper is the most famous followed by Judge

To a non baseball fan he’s still one of the most recognizable. Especially over the 3 the OP listed.

Outside of like 4 QBs Tebow is probably still more popular than everybody else in the league. Same can be said for the NBA right now. I get what Dan Patrick is trying to say but Tebow is a bad example.

The more I think about this, it’s really quite obvious that this is true. Jeter would probably be the last person among non baseball fans who could rival Tebow.

I just don't understand how Kris Bryant isn't a bigger star. He's 26 years old and was the best player on a team that broke the most famous championship drought in sports. The guy should be a mega star or at least a much more well-known sports personality than he currently is.

Probably true, but only half probably know he is playing baseball.
