re: Daily Betting Thread 3/21: What is there to bet on edition

It doesn't take much to build a bankroll back up as long as you're betting with your head and sticking to a units system.

I think I need to start writing, "No more parlays", 100 times a day for it to stick.

I'm no NHL expert & i know there are other posters here that know more than me.
I'm just posting this for information/discussion.
4 games tonight:
6PM, BOS @ MON
- BOS (-240)
- last game of a 4 game road trip, they are 2-1 so far. I like 6+ goals here

7PM, LV @ MIN
- MIN (-170)
- LV is back on the road after winning 2 in a row at home. Before that they lost 5 straight on the road. Do they continue sucking on the road? Leaning toward MIN ML & 6+ goals.

8:30PM, EDM @ COL
- COL (-200)
- EDM is riding NHL best 5 game winning streak, avg 5+ goals per game. COL has won 3 in a row. I'm leaning towards COL at home.

9PM, NSH @ ANA
- NSH (-175)
- ANA has lost 6 in a row (2 in OT) and 5 of those were a 5 game road trip. NSH is 6-2 over its last 8 outscoring opponents by a 38-20 margin. I like NSH & o5.5 goals, but the line is closer than I would've thought.
- looking at scoring/pts prop bets Roman Josi & Matt Duchene both have 9 game pt streaks. Josi has 22 pts(3 goals, 19 assists) & Duchene has 17 (9 goals, 8 assists) over the last 9.

Need to try and force myself to withdraw after the NCAAt is over. I know if I have the bankroll I’ll bet on shite I know nothing about just to pass the time.

Maybe I’ll withdraw it all and just leave my initial deposit in as fun money and tail all the Reddit Twitter and discord sports betters until football season. Or for a day or two until I lose it all

Reminder to look at the bracket when betting the WGC this week in the PGA.

Essentially you could have two of your picks knocking each other out in match play assuming they get that far.

The smart thing to do is throw a bet or two on someone with an easy path then wait until Friday to bet the final 16 when the knockout stage gets underway

Gonna check the apps daily for promos and will keep tailing the twitter prop guy but thats about it

I’ve considered shutting it down but there’s just no way . A weekend where we don’t have plans and are just farting around the house I have to get some bets in for some excitement. My issues aren’t with the financial aspect of gambling but the attention I give to it. I try really hard to divert my attention but when I have a bet going on it’s damn near impossible for me to just function like a normal person and not be giving FD or DK my full attention. That’s my real issue with it. Plus staying up way later than I need to bc my nerves are frickin shot from a late game that I have money riding on. If I can get a handle on that I’d be in good shape.

And if I was a single guy with no kids I wouldn’t give a shite about that.

You guys will be totally different in a year, IMO. I was betting all the time in my honeymoon phase last year and kind of burned out. I mostly just bet football, March Madness, and golf and tennis during majors.

I got an email from Barstool today that they can do instant withdrawals now through their banking affiliates.
