D Wade on LeBron: “I think at this point in his life, it’s more so of a lifestyle thing"

Dwyane Wade, LeBron’s good friend and one of the people who can understand the challenge of balancing those pressures, said this Sunday during an interview on Fox Sports Radio’s with Chris Mannix and Caron Butler (hat tip to the Palm Beach Post).
quote:
“To me, I don’t think it’s a basketball thing. Obviously, you saw this year he can get to the Finals no matter what the circumstances are. I don’t really think the basketball decision of saying, ‘Oh, let me go team up with three All-Stars.’ I think at this point in his life, it’s more so of a lifestyle thing of where my family is going to be the most comfortable and where I’m going to be the most happiest at. Because basketball wise, he’s so great that he can bring along and take along whoever.”
The conventional wisdom goes that if it’s about lifestyle then the Los Angeles Lakers — where he owns a home already and lives there during the offseason, and where his post-career business interests are

Lifestyle = culture = clucha = LeBron to Pellies

Looks like the boyz are getting back together.
SoBe >>>>> HWood
So the place that wrote racist graffiti on his home is the lifestyle he wants

GOD PLEASE NO. I would turn on the Pellies in a heartbeat and pull for every game to be lost.

George needs a new hair style.
That is all.

I dunno i would say Cleveland has a good shot then. I mean his family is already there. There was some talk that his kids have a say in the next move, so maybe they stay near home til the boys are out of high school?

If true, wouldn't this be a boost for Cleveland more than the Lakers?

OP cuts off the end of that sentence

No.. sounds like he prefers Los Angeles if he lives there in the off-season and has business ties.

George's low, thick hairline is the perfect complement for LeBron. Lakers it is.

Compared to Cleveland, anything is a lifestyle upgrade.

Pretty big difference between LA and Philly from a lifestyle perspective. If Wade is right I'd bet on him to go to LA.

The truth is that Lebron in in the one place where many will root for him.
If he goes to LA, especially if he teams up with another Superstar, he becomes the villain again.

I can’t see him staying in Cleveland. He seems way too arrogant for that. Lifestyle for him doesn’t mean he’s looking out for his family, it more likely means Hollywood, national attention, rubbing shoulders with celebrities, etc.
I’d be suprised if he doesn’t go to the Lakers.

I’m thinking LA over Cleveland and San Antonio too.
Houston and Philly dont seem like a good “lifestyle” fit. Boston and GS already seem to be out of it. Not many more organizations that are ready to win for Lebron to consider unless he wants to build a non contending team into a super team like he did in Miami.
Regardless, the Cavs fans have already given him blessing to leave and all signs are still 1. field
2. Cavs

Windhorst is saying the same thing now too
Look who was spotted checking out private high schools in the LA area

James' oldest son, Bronny, is 13. His younger son, Bryce, will turn 11 next week. They will be able to voice their feelings on the decision this time. They have spent time in Miami and Akron and even Los Angeles in the summers. Bronny is a standout basketball player who has a chance at an NBA future, and his development and comfort through his teen years, of course, is important.
James' wife, Savannah, was already a driving force in 2014 when James came home to Akron. James loves watching his sons play basketball.
It's hard to see him being apart from his family, which includes 3-year-old daughter Zhuri, at this stage of his life. In 2010, he left Savannah and his young sons in Ohio when he first moved to Miami. Now, where they want to live is a deeper factor

He was just on the Lebatard show and said the best scenario for Lebron would be to go to the Lakers and try to get Durant to join him this summer

He’s coming to Nola for the vet minimum. Just because that would make his family the most comfortable.
