I originally meant superstars in the league. David Johnson, Antonio brown and watt are all top players at their positions

So in other words, some people are late bloomers.

And the NFL is pretty good at giving all athletes a fair chance.

Mostly has to do with the time period that they played CFB in.

For the black players in the 60's - yes.

The Raiders were one of the few franchises that raided the HBCU's like drafting Eldridge Dickey (QB, Tennessee State University, 1964-1967); Willie Brown (DB, Grambling State University, 1959-1963); Raymond Chester (TE, Morgan State, 1968).
