The lativian gangster

They both know a lot about basketball, but the interaction between them was weird. Simmons would want to talk about the NBA playoffs and Kilborn was like hold on I wanna finish my rambling story about when I played basketball in second grade

Kilborn has trouble finishing his sentences and dear god, how many times did he say "blah blah blah?"
Some parts were fine but most of it was crap.

It was good but he clearly has major add and narcissism

Where the hell has Carolla been since the new Simmons podcast started? Those were always my favorite old BS reports; I figured we'd have heard at least one with Bill and the Ace-man once he broke away from ESPN.

He has had a couple of bad ones. The Glazer interview was terrible.
Was Simmons told to cease and desist on talking NBA?

Yeah it was good shtick and I think he's turned it into a defense mechanism since he kinda blew it.
It is still hard for me to believe he walked away from his late night gig

Rappaport is great. Hope he doesn't run the stickman joke into the ground though. The original podcast where it was born, along with the Lativian gangbanger, was so amazing.

He has a separate NBA podcast for hoops. He also has a separate one from that for politics.

Oh I didn't know, what's the name of it?

It was such a disaster that it was entertaining, IMO

I loved the Fast and Furious reviews after they released

It's crazy, it's like he comes up with a new one every week. There's NFL, NBA, Golf, pop culture, politics, Watch the Thrones, and his own. He truly is the King of Podcast.

Simmons' podcast is one of two podcasts that I listen to religiously. Listening to the interview now. Kilborn is obnoxious. I bet Simmons wanted to choke him the entire time. He sounds like an unbelievably narcissistic person who just did a bunch of blow.

I enjoyed that one. The manning story and some of the background info on what it's like as that kind of reporter was interesting
Simmons is always such a gushy pushover interviewer so whether or not he has a good pod 100 percent falls on the person getting interviewed and whether they will take control of the conversation. When Simmons has to control it, he just starts contradicting every article he's ever written just to suck the dick out of the other person

Rap was incredible on his first podcast but hasn't been close to that on subsequent pods.
Stickman and Porzingod riffs were some of the best things I've ever listened to.
