All this money they are giving away can’t be coming out of their own pockets.

As I bust it arse for 70K a year, I’d give my left nut for an opportunity to bang home a kick for half a mil.

He got 250K. The other 250K went to charity.

Right, but the first kick was for $500K to him, yes?

Either way, I’ll take a kick for $1,000 lol

The guy kicking the field goal is from Wichita Falls. The summer before I graduated college, I lived in Denver where I slept on my brother's couch and worked construction for an uncle there. On the drive out there I was 12 miles east of WF when they said on the radio a west-bound tornado had been spotted 15 miles east of WF. As I drove 80 mph into town, I saw, and checked into a La Quinta. I sat up there in my room praying I didn't die that night. Every time I woke up during the night, I looked down to my car that was full of all the stuff I brought with me to stay all summer. I was as concerned about someone stealing my stuff, but I wasn't going down to unload it in the storm. I was so happy to wake up to a nice sunny day the next morning. I drove back through there once going to a cousin's wedding. I slowed down and celebrated when I saw the "Wichita Falls 12 miles" sign I had seen when making that first drive through. If that 2nd trip thru there had been during modern smart phone times, I might have taken a selfie with the sign.

This BYU QB is huge. Rocking the 47 as a QB is something.

Tech has a disproportionate amount of hot female grads in Houston. Must be a fun place to go to college.

What High School did he play at?

He didn't do the recruiting circuit (Manning Passing Academy, Elite, etc) like most of the top QB prospects do. Think he was busy playing all sports and maybe his parents were splitting up around then. Still weird nobody bigger came after him just bc of his pedigree.
