You can say the same thing about any major program though.
True, but SEC fans don't pretend to be all pious and above reproach. In fact, the top 3 programs in Big Ten history are all on football probation right now, but they act like bastions of "doing it the right way".

Are you even trying anymore?

Ohio state and Michigan have to make themselves believe they are relevant. I guess this is their way of letting us know.

i don't know if i hate any.. but auburn/alabama seems meh to me unless ur from bama.

29. How many legit BCS titles do UM-Ohio State have combined? Hell how many BCS titles does the Big Ten have? Rhymes with nero...
Now you are showing your ignorance.

This...I grew up in Texas and nobody could care less about Texas vs OU...granted over the last 35 years, aTm has beaten Texas more...

To avoid homerism, I'll abstain from picking SC vs. ucla or ND.
1. Iron Bowl
This will split families and friends up, and has. I know people who literally can't sit and watch the game, too nerve-wracking. One such guy spends the day in a tree stand (Bama fan). I think he pretends all the deer are named "Cam". These people live and work together, and if you come out the loser that day, they'll not let you live it down until the next time you win.
2. Texas vs A&M
Just pure abject hatred. Teasips vs. Aggy. This one will be missed by all CF fans, I think.
3. Michigan vs. Ohio State
You know the reasons. If not, watch the documentary.

This is the best list I've seen so far in this thread. A&M vs. Texas is ridiculous in that state...not at the level of AU vs. Bama, but still really hate-filled.

I always got the impression that Texas fans wanted to beat OU more.

You would be correct. Now don't get me wrong, Texas-Texas A&M is a very close second, but it's not TX-OU.

Not as rabid as Oregon vs Udub or OSU vs Udub or WSU vs Udub.
The NW hates Udub.

It's the same way with UGA. They want to beat us but they don't want to lose to GT even more.

As Beano Cook famously said about the Big House in Ann Arbor,"the quietest 100,000 people in America." any fan base that can't even bother to get off their arse to cheer their own team damn sure can't conjure up that much hate for their rival.
Iron Bowl in a walk.
