Was expecting a pic of Beck with his Lambo.

This is payback for when lsu and Les miles stole Jai Eugene from Michigan in the mid 2000s (and unlike today, it was illegal what lsu did then)
Jai was locked into Michigan and wanted to come there. All of a sudden on signing day, Jai's father(who was in jail) was suddenly out of jail and had a job, his mother had a new house, and other benefits were given.
Bo Schembechler called Les the day after Jai accepted the bribe and told Les he’d never coach a down at Michigan

The sky screaming from grown men about how college football is ruined has become absolutely comical

Connor Stallions is trying desperately to stay relevant.

Tell me you don't know that Stallions is one of his high school coaches without telling us you don't know that Stallions is one of his high school coaches.

The sky screaming from grown men about recruiting teenagers I've always found weird.
The gripes of where CFB is headed is well deserved though. I'll never blame players for doing what's in their best interest for their livelihood, but the environment created from NIL and transfer rules legitimately sucks. It has neutered what makes CFB great.

So then Underwood is going to be a mid player then?

This has been one of the best seasons in a long time. NIL and transfer portal needs some tweaking sure but it’s not some massive disaster

Absolutely zero of that is true

i honestly think Underwood was using LSU the entire time. the plan all along was to extract as much cash as possible from Michigan and stay home and look like a hero while doing it.
if he had said he was going to michigan from the beginning and tried to haggle for as much cash as possible, it wouldve made michigan fans upset with him. but since he flipped to michigan, they are happy to pay him 12 million.
his agent did a good job.

I don't know about that. BK helped make JD5 the Heisman winner and 1st overall pick.

i can see both sides. but the instagram video when he was a kid with a microphone saying he was gonna go to michigan and all the old pictures in michigan gear make me think thats where he was always gonna end up, especially if the money was equal.
the rumor mill says he still wouldve came to LSU if we matched their terms but I just find it hard to believe

Hold up
Last year Stallions was at Michigan when the scandal happened
Then I thought he took a job at some inner city HS this season and got fired for having a terrible year
Now he’s coaching a 5*?

It is pretty sad that Connor can have anything to do with a Michigan recruit.
He had a mid season change of schools and the side of the ball he was coordinating to coach this player which also seems off.
Didn’t Michigan attempt to hide him from being interviewed or something like that ?
Seeing that he isn’t mad at being the scapegoat for the cheating shows he got paid well by Michigan in some manner and possibly still is. Knowing he cheated in the past for Michigan I wouldn’t put it past him to have done so again.
I would think at least officially Michigan would want Connor far away from this guy.

I agree, this season has been great but we're still in the infancy of the new rules.
It's pretty obvious where we're headed though.
Bidding wars, pay for play, players being hired mercenaries rather than student athletes. That's not CFB.
And I know there has always been pay for play to some level and athletes being at school with no intention of actually schooling, but it's gonna be that on steroids.
