Michigan/Illinois this year was not great. But, I think there were a few Michigan games as a kid that were a little worse. You learn that proper footwear is important.

Viking at Packers. January 2022. SNF. 8 degrees at kick off. 3 by the time the game ended.

I remember being pretty god damn cold sitting in the west upper for LSU vs. Arky 2003. But what a great atmosphere and arse kicking.
Most miserable experience for me was Auburn 2013. It was a misting rain for 4 hours non stop. Cold to the bone to the point that a hot shower couldn’t even help.

Several here have mentioned the Troy-LSU game from 2008. My dad and I used to pick a road game to go to each year. We would alternate between a Troy game and an Alabama game. I went to Troy and many family members went to Alabama. That year we picked LSU and it was supposed to be September. Got rescheduled because of a tropical storm. We spent the afternoon at the riverboat casino, made enough playing blackjack to pay for our trip, made it over to the stadium for a tailgate and then promptly froze the next 3 hours.
I’ve been to colder games but that one always sticks out because of the big lead we had then letting LSU make the big comeback. Walking all the way out to some field we parked in, just frozen.

Coldest I've ever been watching a game was a Chicago Cubs opening day game. We were up in the upper deck on the 3rd base side and the wind was blowing out but carrying like a frozen mist with it.
It wasn't raining wasn't even THAT cold out, so we didn't bundle up but were wearing appropriate clothes for 40° weather.
I don't think the thermometer would say that was the coldest game I've ever been to, but it was 100% the coldest I've ever felt watching a game.

Also going to late November night games with a pregnant wife was hilarious. We had season tickets to Troy games for the first several years we were married. Up until our oldest was 2 or 3 then it got to be too much so we’d just pick a few to go to. I never understood why we had games at 2:30 in August and September then we’d have 6:00 or 7:00 games in October and November. You’d burn up in the direct sun early in the season then it would be dark and windy and 40 degrees for the late season night games. We were at one the week of Thanksgiving. It was a Tuesday night game, we were playing Middle Tennessee and it was just everyone all bundled up. Wife is sitting next to me in a T shirt and still said she was hot.

High school football game in 2009. LHSAA semifinals and it was 19 degrees. Raining, sleeting, and snowing.

Went to The old Alex Box around 1993/1994, LSU played a cold February game. I think the temperature was like 39 F with wind. I was sitting on a cold metal bleacher down the left field line. Had a coat on and hot chocolate.

Kentucky v Alabama State 2013. No idea why I sat through that and froze my arse off for such a shite opponent. Drunken hubris I suppose.

Come on man. I've been to 2 UM/OSU games. 2007 and 2011. Don't remember what I wore in 2007. It lightly snowed in both versions of The Game.
Now 2011 version I had a Red/White/Grey North Face winter coat. Of course, I wasn't wearing that shite into the game. Went jeans, M shirt with an UA underneath and AF1's. I was fine. (you stand the entire game other than halftime, so I guess you are warming up with the people next to you) Stormed the field after The Game.
Normally I can't stand the cold, but that day it didn't matter.
I consider that the last game I went to with my Dad, yeah, we and family did go vs CMU 2 years later (my cousin was a freshman in the CMU band and many (myself included are alums or partial alums). My cousin is a diehard UM fan too, quite the experience for his first college game.
Anyways, that's a memory burned into my head. We would normally park at the golf course, I think it was closed that day, so we parked adjacent at HS AA Pioneer. I have no idea how I got onto the field, managed to get back to our mini-tailgate, and then have a victory beer (or two) and cigar with my Dad... watching the sad OSU fans walk back to their tailgate... Priceless.

Did you like it? What did you pay?
I'd think with a name like skiutah you would be more prepared.

When I was an assistant principal in College Station, we had a playoff game vs Austin Westlake at Temple. They had an ice storm on Thursday night and the temps stayed below freezing on Friday. There was talk about moving the game from Saturday to Monday.
The superintendent caught wind that I was going up there on Friday after school and hang out with friends in Killeen. He calls me to make sure & told me to go the route the buses normally go to the stadium and report on highway and stadium conditions.
I found very little ice on the highway, but plenty was still melting on the grass in the fields. It got in the teens that night and I do recall sliding when leaving a restaurant in Killeen. I got up early and went to the stadium again and reported all clear to the superintendent and athletic director.
I wish I wouldn't have done that as while it got to 28, a Northwest wind decided to show up around lunch and it was brutal on the sideline. Worst I've dealt with...wind chills in the teens. Plus we lost.
