In a society of universal deceit to tell the truth is a revolutionary act

I think comparing anything going on right now to anything that happened in Nazi Germany or by their officials to be a bold choice but thats just me

There is no logic or reason. They make up a problem, then *insert buzzword here* to fix it.

Or do the opposite. When something is being done about something (illegal voting in GA), they say it’s racist to make voting have less loopholes in it.

Let's be real here. If you're a progressive making a point, you're free to compare people to Nazis. If you're not, you can't.

Now, knowing that, I probably wouldn't have tweeted what he did. But, he should be able to and it shouldn't be controversial. He didn't even call anybody a Nazi. He just alluded to the fact that our government is using panic and fear to get people to obey them. He's not wrong...

Bold is one word to describe it I suppose. I would say “stupid” would be a better word. I can, however, see the same fascist tactics being implemented by the left

Every leader since, well... Hitler.. has been called Hitler. It is a ridiculous comparison on many levels but it includes liberal and conservative leaders and their opposition across the globe.

In the 80s we had the Reagan Youth. Just attention-seeking skinheads who knew zero about politics. Same story now, next president and next verse.

this one does exist though, and is absolutely applicable to what's going on today.
quote:

“Oh, that is all well and good, but, voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same way in any country.”

It is not an historical quote.

Here is a link to the transcription of Georing's trial LINK

No such quote exists

Just quoting to underscore the irony of using a made up nazi quote to support that you just have to use fear to manipulate people.

And would be damn easy to sell either direction. Fear of covid, or fear of pretty much any response to covid.

It's controversial to post historical quotes on how easy humans are manipulated?

A lot of mlb wives are complaining about it - Eric Sogards wife and some others. They won’t let the players leave the “bubble” even to see family without the vaccine

That's what folks have been conditioned to believe and it's sad, but why hasn't the vaccine been made available to the players by this time? I've been told by multiple folks on this forum that it is available to anyone who wants it? Does that not include professional athletes?
