Clay Travis Clay Travis @ClayTravis There is a 100% chance that Demarcus Cousins is arrested for something in the next five years. 100%. Write it in stone. 6:19 PM · Jan 30, 2010 · Twitter Web Client

And for what it’s worth, not only has Cousins still not been arrested, but he is one of the league’s most charitable stars off the court. He was the recipient of the inaugural Offseason NBA Cares Community Assist Award in 2017, a finalist for the 2017-18 Seasonlong NBA Cares Community Assist Award, and his philanthropy touches several communities nationwide, from Sacramento, Ca. to Mobile, Al.

Clay Travis hot take is proven wildly inaccurate.

There’s a poster on here, JBeam, whose friend plagiarized an article Clay Travis wrote and passed it off as his own.

Clay Travis acts like a douche and isn’t knowledgeable about sports. I have no idea how he is popular or successful

I didn't know much about him until Lock It In came on air.

I don't pay attention to his politics or tweets, but I don't think he's to be taken all that seriously.

I feel like he's lightheartedly joking about a ton of shite that people take seriously around here. The guy pokes fun at himself just as often as anyone else.

I was pleasantly surprised with him after reading y'all's opinions of him over the years over here.

It’s the same people that took Jim Rome serious. It’s the same people that take Colin Cowherd and Skip Bayless and Dave Portnoy serious. Sports are serious business to these goobers

He is popular because he was only person to challenge the ‘Woke’ members of the sports media.

If he hadn’t done that he would still be a successful individual, but that propelled him into what he is today.

He peddles in faux outrage as much as they do, just pandering to a different audience.

100% right. Everyone liked his version because he went against the black sportscenter

He peddled in the outrage they produced. Very rarely does he create his own story. It’s honestly a pretty easy gig with his platform since the media is so one sided nowadays.

ESPN essentially created him.

I actually wrote it in a stone. Now that it’s worthless, can I bash goodells head in?

Spare me. He only started the shtick because of how badly ESPN ate the trash with that shite. For every 1 Clay Travis there are 20 Jemele Hills

He sucks so bad he donated $5k to charity on the 5 year anniversary of this tweet. What a hack. Giving to charity.

In fairness to him, while his tweet was stupid and idiotic, he did own it, and even donated to charity when the anniversary got there.

He's still an idiot, but he's not the worst kind of idiot.

If it wasn’t for this board, I would have no clue who Clay Travis is

Still couldn’t pick him out of a lineup tbh
