almost had a bucs playoff game locally blacked out.

My friends went when the skins played them in the playoffs in tampa and they said it was over ran by redskins fans.

The next year they wouldn't sell playoff tickets to people from ny/nj zip codes for the playoff game until they realized they were not going to sell out

You can get into a game at Yankee Stadium for a reasonable price. Not the primo seats but some outfield seats are as little as $14.

All those places have the same problem: A large percentage of the residents are transplants, and they brought their old loyalties with them.

That's why a team from a rust belt city comes to one of those towns and the visitors have the crowd.

Atlanta in every sport.

L.A. isn't as bad as you think, they're nuts for the Lakers and the Dodgers have drawn nearly 4 million fans for something like 25 years straight or something equally ridiculous

the thing with the braves is most the fan base doesn't even live with in a reasonable distance of the city that and turner field is just way to big

Yep. Not to mention Turner Field is in a shitty spot.

I believe the Ted is the largest stadium outside of Dodger Stadium in terms of capacity. If not, it's got to be top 3. I wish they would cover one of the outfield sections with a large A or something resembling a Braves logo and let is look more appealing for television since the outfield sections aren't filled all the time.

A lot of teams won't sell tickets to anyone in the 412 or 724 area codes, or they make you buy a multi game package to get tickets to games against the Steelers.

Doesn't help. Those teams still end up with the stands full of Terrible Towels.

Falcons fans do the wave when they're on offense. The crowd is always "late arriving". It's a sterile environment.

You can make a case for Atlanta, Phoenix, Houston, and Miami. I would put Miami in front because they don't even go to college football games.
