Man, just flipped this game on and saw a shot of the stands.

Very sad.

I don't think there was 1,000 fans.

Question...Is Curtis Johnson on the hot seat?

I really haven't seen any improvement at all from the past couple of seasons.

Weren't they in the NOLA Bowl last year? Compared to Toledo that's like winning a NYD bowl.

Tulane says "here's a guy ready to be a HC". What has he coached other than WR?

He was the first guy to say "Yes."

Was at the game. The stands were fuller at the beginning of the game. The student section started emptying out in the first quarter

I left at half

Not a big TU guy, but they are paying CJ way too much for that trash he is running out on the field. The white safety #35 was so slow. Special teams is a mess as well

But but but they went to a bowl last year. CJ will never get that program consistently winning. Guy is in over his head.... And I dont care Saintsfan...that they went to the great New Orleans bowl last year. CJ is terrible.

Was it Vincent or Broussard that Willis made an instructional tape out of?

Tanner lee is so bad. How is he starting over Montana? Not saying Montana is any good either but play the senior

Why play the senior? Lee wasn't even bad last night and he's infinitely better than Montana. Why play the senior in a year where your team is going nowhere when you can get your freshman Qb some experience?

I went to this game- first time ever at the new Tulane Stadium.

The stadium is nice, and seems small for a Div. I school.

But it is WAY too big for Tulane's fan base.

At kickoff, it was 30-40% full (I'm being generous), with the majority of action and excitement in the end zone with the students.

By halftime (before halftime), when it was 24-0, they had cleared out, and I would say from then on, the stadium was maybe 20% full, or less.

This is really sad- Cincinnati is not an uninteresting opponent, with name-recognition people like Tommy Tuberville, Gunner Kiel, and local Munchie Legaux

I stayed till the end of the 3rd quarter, and headed home then- it was just about empty.

What will make people go (and stay) to these Tulane games? Winning? Certainly having the stadium on-campus isnt doing much.

Do they need a new head coach? The current one is 11-22, and will be 11-26 if they lose out (which they definitely will). Is 11-26 good enough to keep you job after 3 seasons? Does he get one more year to turn this around?

I think Tulane was drawing around 24K for the first couple of games. That is not great but a huge improvement over 1K at the superdome. Winning would be nice. If LSU was 2-6 or whatever Toolame is then I would bet that Tiger Stadium would barely have 70K for a game. Plus it was halloween lot of other things to do than watch a shitty football game. I think building an ocs was the right move, but Toolame's AD freaked up every possible thing from building the bball practice facility first, to compromising on the height, to ugly arse multicolored tuf (the endzones are though).
