No need to build a stadium there. For $70MM, I would have invested in other areas that would have more of an impact on winning.

If Tulane builds a winner, people will come. Problem is lack of local alumni. Their graduates are from the Northeast and do not live close enough.

I'm surprised Nastynatti didn't score while I was gone to the store.

Tulane can build a winner considering the unbelievable amount of high school talent surrounding them.

Are y'all's academic standards for athletes the same as your undergraduate students, like Notre Dame?

Where else would you have put it?

Like what other than an IPCC, which really isn't needed in NOLA.

Their athletic department really had poor planning. They build the basketball practice facility then announced the stadium would be built around it. They should have moved the stadium over some and built it with matching sides. Then built the bball practice facility where that half turf field is between the stadium and baseball field. The build an IPCC on that land that was donated about a mile and half or so away from campus.

yes, I lurk on tulane and aac boards.

True. People forget Univ of Miami is a private school that cared only about academics (and baseball) till Schulemburg made it elite using local talent.

I would love love love for Tulane to be a poor man's Miami or USC. Private schools with big time football.

I couldn't tell if he was saying soak the sweatshirt in it, or inhale it or what.

I don't see howthe AD still has a job. He blew the biggest thing to happen to Tulane athletics since 98. All the fans hate him, he gave an extension to an underachieving baseball coach. Am I leaving anything out.

With as bad as toolame was, I thin CJ deserves one more season. Everybody knew that this year was going to be tough and changing conferences didn't help. If he don't make a bowl next season he needs to go though.
