I tried it and I came up 2.3 mil short. That Deng stretch (5 mil) stopped it from working.

the lakers can get very close to a 30% max slot if:
-AD waives all or most of his trade kicker
-the lakers trade becomes a 3-team deal (likely, if the pels trade #4)
-the lakers send their remaining salary scraps to team #3
-team #3 sends a fake second to the lakers
if that happens, the trade can go on 7/6 and the lakers can sign a "max" free agent
