Im still waiting for evidence of a coach on any level of basketball instructing his players to over embellish receiving a foul in a non charge situation....

I didn't realize the 'whole Florida football team' played competitive basketball....

it's one thing to sell an actual foul that wouldn't be called otherwise

it's another to create a foul out of thin air, that's a bitch move

He said flopping is for bitches. I posted an article where the football team was accused of flopping.

Look, my point in this thread is players have always and will always do things to gain a competitive edge.

Actually, this exactly is my point. Notice how this board has mainly been complaining about the Heat flops? Hell, San Antonio basically invented flopping. Ask New Orleans fans. People only get mad when there opponent does it

So you have respect for Clemens, Bonds, McGuire, Sosa, ect?

They were just doing what needed to be done to help out their team right? Even though it is illegal, like flopping.

i dont understand how you could look at yourself as a player after pulling some BS like that
do you feel the same way about the wide receiver or outfielder who clearly traps a would be catch but pretends he caught it?

Because there is no way you can argue that it's any different.

Sumlin didn't specify a particular player or play in the game, although

you seem to be a bitch who evidently cant read or comprehend context?

phrasing seems to imply that the coach wasn't talking about flopping in its normally used sports sense - players exaggerating injuries or contact to draw fouls against another team - but rather conditioning.

The guy I was directing that towards said I must have never played competitive sports b/c I don't agree with doing what is needed for your team to succeed. What I asked him is parallel with his mindset of doing what is needed to succeed while both actions (steroids/flopping) is illegal in its sport, is it not?

Never played baseball but when I played football I always thought I caught it. Its almost impossible to feel the ground help you catch it. If it skips in thats different.
