On Tuesday, the WNBA revealed its findings regarding an investigation into alleged racist remarks directed at Chicago Sky players during an opening weekend game against the Indiana Fever at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

In a statement, the WNBA said that it had not found any evidence of racist fan behavior after examining audio and video from the game, as well as speaking with fans in attendance. After seeing the news, one ESPN WNBA analyst apologized for her strong and pointed remarks made in the aftermath of the allegations.

In a video posted to social media on Tuesday night, Chiney Ogwumike addressed the WNBA’s investigation, and how she can do better discussing similar situations in the future.

In today's culture, moderately refreshing to apologize for reporting without proof. Still shitty to do.

but did she learn her lesson that she should keep her mouth shut until the truth comes out?

It's the accepted thing to do these days. Pop off when the shite hits the fan, spout all of your hate mongering, racist shite, or pro-whatever class/race you fall under. Most just spout off and when the truth comes out, they don't apologize, they just cover their arse or make excuses on why popping off is ok. At least she has the balls to say she fricked up.

The investigation showed that there was no evidence of racist remarks toward Sky players?

I’m shocked.

Black people immediately jumped at their favorite card to play when they’re wrong (defending Reese) and know it?

Shocked again.

A black female admitted that she was wrong?

Shocked without sarcasm.

Sorry, but admittedly I don't follow the WNBA, what exactly were her original quotes?

She's unapologetically apologizing.

She is pulling a SAS. Yells and scream from the mountaintops RACISM!!!! Then gives some shitty arse apology. Just wait until the “W” claims racism again and let’s see what she does….we all know the answer. I will say you can see a very welcomed shift that white people are finally done with the black folks screaming racism with no proof

The issue for me is how far the goalposts have moved. I was somewhat sympathetic to “we want to be policed the same way everyone else is.” I understand the reasons for why they are policed the way they are but I could at least follow the logic on their end and was sympathetic to those who were affected unjustly.

Now the goalpost seems to be “black people should be able to act however they want and anyone criticizing it is racist.” I can’t buy those goods.

Who did she apologize to?

She apologized for her comments being “in the heat of the moment.” Didn’t apologize for whatever she said and she didn’t apologize to anyone In particular?

She said her initial comments were after talking to people she knows who were involved. I’m guessing some black girls told Chiney that some white folks were racist towards them at a game.

Did they lie? How can you apologize and gloss over the fact that black women lied to you in order to falsely paint whites as evil pieces of shite?

At least she’s getting roasted in the comments.

She seems like lovely woman. But goddamn, this shite has to stop. Dems address the country and say “whites are the biggest danger to democracy” and it results in what we see here. Lying about us to improve their lot in life.

It has to stop.

Very refreshing - as it almost never happens, accountability is a disappearing virtue in our country heck....most of the world now.

She literally says that people she trusted “experienced” it though.

So is she skirting around the fact they straight up lied? But won’t just say it? Or did she make those people up, but won’t say it?

I’ll give her a C-….AT BEST

You say this as a joke but I get you she did. Nobody else likely did, but she sure as hell won’t be doing this again.
