Eli gives zero fricks about most things. I think he probably loves the ability to walk straight to his car after practice and not deal with these assholes.

Then he's going to throw 3 INTs in a 35-7 regular season loss to the Cowboys and they're going to throw him under the bus.

As they rightfully should

He’s a pro athlete. He can take criticism. If he does start (which he won’t week 1) and plays bad the media should rip him. That’s their job.
His job is to not get bent out of shape about it.
And he’s got the best person in front of him to learn it from

Well Eli already finished his interview so that's why he got zero coverage in the picture.

I know exactly what it means, but it was possibly the dumbest observation one could make based on that picture

Now he's overachieving in preseason and suddenly he's "King of New York." I hate that kind of shite.

They are going to absolutely murder him once he starts playing against starters and turns into a below average QB.

Personally I hope that it doesn't happen. I hope he blows it up. But it really is amazing how quickly NY media, and those who cover the giants have forgotten what Eli Manning did, and was a part of.

It would be fricked up to bench Eli his last year when he's only like 4k yards away from 60k.

That's going to depend on how big the coaches balls are. The first int or 3 and out Eli has, the fans and NY sports media are going to be calling for his head. It's going to be up to the coach to have enough balls to not be pressured to swap. Especially if Eli stinks it up and the pressure gets even worse. Because when Eli has talent around him, he is good. So if it's bad, will Jones really make any difference?
Then it could be a deal like the Rams the year before their coaching change. It was obvious that Fisher was a bad fit for the Rams and wanted no part of Goff being the QB. Put Goff with talent, a very good offensive minded coach, and bam. Super Bowl. It could possibly be something like that with the Giants. But I doubt it.

Besides signifying his job is in jeopardy, Eli is probably enjoying the lack of media attention for once.

No ones forgotten what he’s done.

But the last time he’s done anything was 2012.
He’s well past his prime and needs to retire

I personally think in this age of the NFL first round pick like him need to be thrown into the fire.
Maybe not the first game but the first season for sure
These kids are coming in more talented than they did 10-15 years ago

The game is also better suited for them with the rules protecting them

It's typical Syracuse grads who never watch a single game before going to cover those teams...
