Most important addition now is to add another person that can handle the ball and make plays happen.

another big is more important than a slashing 2 IMHO FWIW

not really

we are offensively deprived and only 1 guy can create his own shot

Seriously, when CP was on the bench or the other team threw the kitchen sink to stop him, no one else and I mean NO ONE else looked comfortable with the ball in their hands or setting up plays.

i just hope he's allowed to do something (james and daniels both went to shite when they came here. james did much better after he left. i think it may be systemic)

and we'll need him out there with cp3 at times

I know he's a shooter, but really you underestimate Thornton my good man, he can handle tha ball and slashes to tha rimm, you saw that this past year.

The draft picks will be pretty worthless since the Bulls with West are a top-4 team in the East (at worst) and you now have no one who can score. Haslem isn't a good shooter and he gets his points the same way that Thomas and Okafor get theirs

Draft picks help you get something valuable in return with expiring contracts.

I beg to differ, Haslem is a good scoring option coming off the bench. He has a nice mid range j and will be more active around the basket.

I'll take a good young starter with potential and big depth on the bench over a big who shoots nothing but jumpers, doesnt hustle and a ryan bown, melvin ely, or sean marks coming off the bench FWIW IMHO

we got the two gaurds in the draft lets see what they can do there. No need to look for another ball handler or slasher. Give them a chance.

If they can get anything close to Chalmers out of Collison I would be thrilled.

Almost exactly what they need.

well lets stand pat there because albeit was only summer league, but the guys did a good job. Big Depth is no bueno. Thats why I said we need another big. Someone said something about being undersized, having juju play 4 or marks play 5 is being undersized

he did, Collison should be a good back up, but I saw Thornton with LSU this past year and in tha summer league put tha ball down numerous times and go to tha goal, something he never he used to do in earlier times, so I think he is being overlooked in that regard.

Yeah, I think the thing that impressed me the most reading about the summer league games was how often Collison got to the line.
