Chandler and Okafore (sp?) or like 4 days apart..basically the same age

Chandler came straight out of high school. He has more NBA experience on better teams, that's all that matters.

There are some bigs still available. Warrick, etc. I think they'll sign someone. I also think some other moves are in the works. No real inside info, but a pretty strong gut feeling based on talking to people around town. Hope so.

well I'm not sure how I feel about this, considering the Hornets are big on the pick and roll

I think we might actually have a shot at doing damage this year! And I mean contending for a championship!

The Hornets are no where near contending for a championship. Sorry.

Sounds like a upgrade from Tyson.

Doing some work last night came to the conclusion that I like this deal.

TC's contract isn't really the issue with this team, it's the other dead weight.

Do I think Okafor is worth what he is signed for? Not really but I think he can help this team win in the future.

Hornets still have work to do but IMHO this is a good first step

he can be a bigger difference maker by not scoring as much and almost rebounding as well....uhhhhh what?

Let's put it this way: Chandler can be more of a difference-maker than Okafor, but only if he is healthy

this is still funny to me

Chandler (7-foot-1, 235 pounds) at least will be better-equipped to defend Orlando stud Dwight Howard.

and this is even better

chandler is just a big ole pussylip. i don't know how a skinny arse 7'1 center who avoids contact to get a rebound is going to intimidate anyone.

playing with the second best player in the NBA will motivate okafor to elevate his game to a previously untouched level IMO

I hope you're right, because as state previously the only way I really see this makes our team better is because we are counting on Okafor actually playing most of the games and Tyson being hurt for half the season as usual
