The college refs at least in the SEC know it's a bullshite rule that will likely never be revised to a more reasonable standard. That's why Whit Weeks wasn't ejected from the Ole Miss game even though it was targeting by the letter of the law. I hate Ohio State but that was a silly call.

Ive just accepted that every single hard hit that a defender lays will be targeting. It sucks, but that's the nature of football today.
