I always bring this up and people who stream try to downplay it but it’s a serious problem. I can’t watch sports 2 minutes behind.

Hell, it's so bad that you can use the same streaming service on differnet devices and it's still wildly off.
For example, the Spectrum streaming app on my computer is roughly 20 seconds behind the Spectrum streaming app on my Roku. Right now the streaming app on my Roku is roughly 40 seconds behind the feed on my cable box. Streaming just sucks for live sports.
But hey if Spectrum wants to frick around w/this bullshite Disney fight they are going to have some mega shocked Pikachu face when they loose hundreds of thousands of customers in the next few days who are NEVER going to come back.
