They had this like two hours ago, but obviously just projections. ND was -1500 to get in.

This show milking the reveal of the teams really really sucks and makes me not want to watch any of this crap.

So what? If both of those teams didn't have to play their CCG, then they were both 100% in the playoff.
If it was anyone but Alabama getting blown out yesterday, we aren't even having this discussion. Alabama getting in is 100% confirmation of special treatment due to name and name alone.

Wouldn’t bother me if Alabama doesn’t make it.
But the ND Miami pod thing just feels like a terrible way to treat Alabama.
Alabama is free to roam anywhere between them in the rankings, and always ranked ahead of Miami. Even jumps ND to move to 9.
So Miami gets to move up the queue finishing with 3-9 Syracuse, 7-5 NCST, 3-9 VT, a decent Pitt, and rested yesterday
It would be one thing if they won big games to bust up into the top 12ish, but they didn’t. They just waited around and beat some truly bad teams and Pitt.
I write that to say, it’s weird that their orbit around ND is a reason to squeeze out Alabama. I know it makes the decision easier bc of the narrative that it has established and with how many fans will be happy about it.
But the actual logic is wild. And before anyone mentions the SECCG loss, this logic was alive before Alabama made that game. Alabama being stuck between those two has been ridiculous.
