I would love to see an OSU/Indiana Championship game.
Indiana wants no part of a pissed off, fully invested Ohio State.

Committee did the same thing with FSU in 2023. Kept them #4 for weeks after Travis was hurt, then decided to drop them in the final rankings because “Travis is hurt”. If that was the reason, why wasn't FSU immediately dropped the week he was hurt.
Rece bringing up similar scenario. Why was ND ahead of Miami for weeks and now finally dropped because of the head to head?

Group of 5 teams should have to be top 16 to get in.

Dude completely punts on explaining OM over A&M then ends by saying "I hoped I answered all your questions."

This is the worst job the committee has ever done. Bama had 2 losses (one very bad) and should have needed to win yesterday to get in over ND, BYU and Miami.
Y’all get mad now but ignored ND’s ridiculous ranking the last month. Again, they did the same thing keeping Oregon at 3 or 6 or whatever the hell it was in the last couple years. Just an extremely obvious terrible ranking that rational people knew would have to be addressed.

Not sure, but A&M/Miami as a noon game is idiotic.

Yeah wtf was that. We just didn't change anything Reece.
Also we got an 11am playoff home game. They jobbed us a night game for a Oregon/jmu joke of a game.

Yeah, the process was bad, but I think they got the teams right.
Notre Dame played 3 teams worth a shite all season and lost 2 of them.
Bama's strength of schedule was MUCH tougher than Notre Dame and Miami. They were rewarded for that and not penalized for playing an extra game against the #3 team in America.
In the end, they honored head-to-head between Miami and Notre Dame since they were comparable teams.

That makes no sense to me. It’s the best game of the first round.

People will have Christmas parties and bullshite on that Saturday night before Christmas. The Noon slot on Saturday will probably draw the most eyeballs.

People don't have football on at parties? Wtf are you on about? Night games are always better. Plain and simple.

I also don’t get why they were complaining about Ole Miss over Texas A&M when Oregon over Ole Miss is more questionable. Ole Miss had the better win and another top 20 win with Tulane. Oregon had a worse resume compared to Ole Miss.

Less TV's, less ratings. It's why ESPN gave those games to TNT/Max.

NFL games that day are later so they will get larger viewership in the noon slot

Well it’ll definitely draw the most eyeballs now that it’s the only good game that day.

Yep. That should be prime time.

So by your logic, Indiana won last night because Ohio State wasn't motivated?
Dumb take on your part.

Green Bay @ Chicago that Saturday night too.

But there shouldn't be 2 G5 teams in. They need to modify the rule so that a team like Miami who gets in without winning the ACC still counts as one of the 5 highest ranked "conference champions." Change it to be 5 highest ranked teams from different conferences or whatever
Or the ACC can change the way they select teams to play in the conference championship game.
Miami shouldn’t count as a conference champion because they are not.
Hell let’s just have Indiana, Ohio st, Georgia and Alabama take the top 4 conference champ spots. Perhaps Indiana should just be crowned champion since they are the only undefeated team.
