Golden State is obviously better, however the Rockets probably have one of the toughest match ups for them.

Golden State would probably sweep the rockets in a playoff series.

It hasn't happened the last 2 years.

Spurs are the best team right now. They are much better than the Rockets

they ain't won shite since we said their window was closed. We called them frauds all last season and we saw how that turned out.

People said their window was closed after the 06 loss to Dallas. Then the window was closed after the 08 loss to LAL. It was slammed shut after the loss to Dallas in 09, the sweep at the hands of Phoenix in 10, and the embarrassing loss to 8 seed Memphis in 2011. You know, when your window is closed you keep getting top seeds and whatnot.

Now, I'm not saying they are front runners, but there's no reason to suggest SA couldn't win the West without a break here or there.

I am not "people"..we never said they were done until 2 seasons ago when it was clear that the big 3 were washed up. No team with Leonard and Aldridge as its best two players will ever lead a team to a title without loads and loads of help. Spurs aren't close to that.

It shouldn't be a surprise that Gordon is having a career year.

Sure. Career highs in efg% and 3s. Going to CC has returned him to his LAC days.

Yes. He is. Averaging 17 points per game in a real role. These are not empty stats in New Orleans. He is also shooting better than he has his entire career, with a true shooting percentage of 57.2%.

I'd be hard pressed to tell you that Klay Thompson is having a better season to date than Gordon, really hard pressed.

He's having a nice year but he's nowhere close to the guy he was in LAC. Totally different player

Playing with Harden is the best thing to happen to Gordon in his can't dunk anymore days

CC point differential is better than the Spurs

Last season you acted like point differential didn't matter since SA's was stellar, ijs

these aren't the big 3 Spurs ofthe last decade.

"Big 3" Spurs basically died in the 2013 Finals. Hence the rise of the "Beautiful Game" Spurs of 2014. Wasn't a Big3 dominated SA squad after that, truth be told.

Maybe so.

Probably not.

No. We aren't.

Better, I believe so.

MUCH better? Eh, I wouldn't go that far. Give Houston credit--they're rolling. That's a good team. Better than folks thought they'd be at this juncture. Props to 'em.

Well when you play the tougher schedule to go along with the Pt differential...well let's just say it's hard not to take notice.

I'm just saying you're weighing criteria differently than last year.

Which is fine--you're biased towards HOU. Nothing wrong with that. You don't need the point differential metric to see that y'all are ballin' so far this year
