They schedule out of state schools Bc either the admin , parents, or both think they are “too good” for local teams Kind of a “look at me “ thing… we’re going to TX to play HS football… we are so great..
Yeah OK keep on believing that . . . If you haven't noticed its pretty common for top tier programs to cross state lines to play other top tier programs. Sorry your school didn't make the cut.
I'm sure it has everything to do with "look at me" and nothing to do with teams taking into consideration how that L affects their power ranking calculations.

Cause they scheduled them, maybe?
They had to schedule them because others in the area/state weren't available or willing.

Yea, I’m sure that’s true as well

I mean that’s great, but if kids there want something better, do you blame them?
Hey I get that. But if certain schools have different sets of rules, then there should be two different leagues for the two different types of schools.

I remember when St. Amant had a respectable program now they’re soft.

9.4.2026 Carrollton (GA) Memorial Stadium
This team and my son’s team are in the same region. Carrollton is very, very good. I might have to take a drive and watch that one.
If you do make sure you drive something that you don't care much about - considering where Memorial Stadium is located there is a decent chance your vehicle won't be there after the game (or at least in the same condition that you left it)

Dude if you don't think there are kids in AP using false addresses to attend their school of choice then you are completely naive. You have your head in the sand, if you don't think the top public schools in the state have several players on their teams that live outside of their area.

I live about halfway between Atlanta and Carrollton. I would love to go watch this if they were playing in Carrollton.

And I’m weird about high school football

St. Amants student base has taken blows from the creation of Dutchtown High and now Prairieville.
