All I know is that I'm brimming with glee that the Heat lost. I don't give a frick who wins the title, as long as LeBron is denied. frick that dude.

You can't assemble a team with megastars and then expect it to work. It's egos. Duncan/Ginobli/Parker BECAME a big three. Allan/Pierce were at Boston when they acquired KG to become a big three. LBJ and Bosh go to Miami and they are LITERALLY celebrating titles they don't have.

It's built to fail. And I'm going to enjoy the shite out of it.

They traded for KG a month after they traded to get Allen. What is the difference

What I don't get is the guy was hired because he earned his stripes breaking down video and being a technical guy, but he literally never talks X's and O's. It's always stupid cliches about energy and focus out of his mouth.

Prob. Fact that kg was basically pushed out by minny..it wasn't a off season of hey let's go play together..it was more natural feeling.

And the fact they didn't throw a championship party until they..ya know...won a championship.

He doesn't know how to beat a zone defense.

I'll take this one. They were all in their 30's and past the prime of their careers. Not the same as the Miami situation. Oh and there was this little thing too

Spoelstras entire approach and in-game adjustments have just been bad. They came out hot as hell so Doc adjusts his defense and then suddenly shite hits the fan. Spoelstra has to adjust to Doc's adjustments, but instead they kept doing the same thing and BOS was able to stay in the game.

As far as the last 5 or so minutes go, I wont directly blame Spoelstra bc honestly, the difference btw BOS and MIA in these final minutes were a couple of loose balls that BOS got and a bad technical call. Other than that, both teams were pretty much the same. I would say Doc drew up some better plays but I dont think it was that much better.

The Heat are good enough to run away and we saw glimpses of this last night but BOS was able to make adjustments which allowed them to stay in the game. If you can stay in the game, anything can happen in the final minutes.

If Pat Riley hired him, he has to be pretty decent and knowledgeable about the game. But I think he was in over his head if he thought he could manage 3 superstar egos on one team.

His rotations are terrible for the most part. Part of that is the dogshit that he has around the Big3, but part of that is on him.

He slows them down too much IMO. They are unbelievable in transition, but they don't force the issue on every possession the way I feel like they could. If Dantoni's system would ever win a title, it would be with a team like this. 3 freaks, and a bunch of cheap 3 point shooters.

Great teams also need great coaches and Spo is not a great coach.

MJ/Pippen:Phil
Kobe/Shaq: Phil
Duncan/Parker/Ginobli: Pop
Pierce/Allen/Garnett/Rondo: Rivers

Lebron isn't getting much help from his coaches.

I don't think he's a bad coach at all, but I do think there is something to the idea that this collection of stars needs a larger than life head coach to reel them in, and keep them in check.

Doc switched from man to zone and ran man that looked like zone time and time again in the 4th to keep Miami out of sync. Spo likes to take out all the shooters in last second situations so the other team can crash the paint and leave everyone but Wade and James.

The problem with the Heat is that they don't have a legitimate PG.

Boston won a championship because Rondo, despite being young, became an asset instead of a liability for a team loaded with other stars.

Mario Chalmers would not start for many other teams in the NBA. And don't give me this crap about Lebron being the PG. He's a good passer but you need true point that can run your offense.

Remember when people were joking that they could play PG for the Heat?
