Drawing up last-second plays for the likes of Eddie House and Mario Chalmers instead of Dwyane Wade and Lebron James.

His experience and overall basketball IQ does not stack up with his contemporaries.

He doesn't suck. He is pretty good, probably above average compared to the rest of the NBA coaches. His main issues are poor, indecisive rotations and the fact that Lebron and Wade think they're his boss

Is main issue is that he has no command of his locker room. Those guys dont respect him.
That may be part the players, part him. But he consistently puts them in bad positions to win close games.

I've watched most of the playoffs and haven't noticed this. I just see him getting ripped in numerous threads and I'm curious as to why.

Why do the big 3 have to bust up, or Spolewatever have to be fired? They made the Finals last year, and have lost 3 games without the 3rd of the Big 3.

Because not winning the title is a failure for them

Why give up after two years, the second of which the injury bug hit?
It's not like they are a .500 team.

Supposedly the deal was that the Heat have three years to win the way the "big 3" want, and they wanted Spo as their coach. If they still haven't won after next season Riley is doing things his way, which might mean one of them getting shipped off or it might just mean Riley coaching them

Well for one they should probably trade one of those 3 (Wade) and get some depth. They are perpetually one play away from this same injury situation every single year.
Secondly it's just the way it is, when you put together a team with this much fanfare, you better win titles. if that's not happening you need to do something.

1. He has the heat playing slow it down defensive basketball that hamstrings their offense
2. He refuses to just play big with Lebron at point guard and letting him distribute.

He can't win shite with the best players in the league. Notice I said best players and not the best team..

Players make great coaches, no matter what anyone says. ES is a film geek not a great leader of men , ES holds no weight in the huddle because he hasn't been there before.
He has no ability to implement a system because his talent does not compliment itself. He's playing chess without any rooks or knights.

Go re-watch last year's finals. That's the difference between a good coach and a bad coach. Carlisle coached circles around him. Plus the fact that Spo is basically just a glorified Heat cheerleader.

He doesn't. He has made the playoffs every year as a head coach. He took over a 15 win team from legendary Pat Riley and brought them to the playoffs the very next season.
But now he gets blamed for every loss and no credit for the wins because he has the Big 3. Would you have asked this question if the Heat had won? No. This loss is not on Spoelstra. It is on the Heat players not being able to get stops when they needed to. And at some point the Celtics just deserve credit for their gutsy performance.

yep...I think people will realize how good a coach he is when he goes somewhere else.

He doesn't suck. He just isn't great either. The fact is he just doesn't matter. At this level of competition vast majority of NBA coaches don't really have any effect on the game.
