Not really.
He's from Florida (albeit North Florida)
He wasn't great this year for Georgia...who obviously has very high expectations
The fans had kind of soured on him due to inconsistent play and feeling he is a bit of a cheesball with the sleeve tat and lambo. They like the country boy from North Georgia (Stockton) better.
He likely played his way out of the first round this year. Particularly with the injured arm. So a payday at Miami, where he can cheese it up, is probably a better business decision than the NFL draft or staying at UGA. Plus, the path to the playoff is arguably easier.
