What we ready knew

quote:

The early returns were encouraging for Anthony, whose first field goal attempt was an off-dribble jumper just inside the 3-point arc, which is typically the kind of shot that D'Antoni discourages.

quote:

"It's challenging mentally more so than anything, having to prepare for the game differently," Anthony said. "Other than that, it's a challenge all the way around. It's just a matter of how I'm going to react to that challenge and accepting that challenge, which I am, which I will do.

quote:

The margin of defeat was more lopsided than any Houston loss last season, when the Rockets had the NBA's best record at 65-17.

Lol, Melo couldn’t even handle one game off the bench before he started complaining.

Melo chose money over wins with his last Knicks contract.

He also never has been in great shape.

That being said I would start him at the four and challenge him to get 8 rebounds and 4 assists a game. Have him post up and feed the shooters

It sucks that my opinion of him has gone down bit by bit since then. I obviously hope it works in Houston. That Syracuse team was magic.

Would you turn down that kind of cash? From your hometown team of all teams?

I was watching that game, and you could tell, the weight from Melo's cancer is going to be tough for Rockets 2 over come. NO chance of making finals.

They would be better off cutting him and let him be dead weight for some one else.

I think most fans would agree that the Rockets are the second best team in the league, with a realistic chance to knock off GSW. I also think most fans would agree that Carmelo is a hinderance and hurts the Rockets more than he helps.

I don’t think it’s a coincidence that melo moves to a team and they struggle with him on the floor.

His game did not age well with the new game of the nba. Also look at him physically and look at Lebron. It’s apparent one took better care of himself and even adapted with the changing nba.
