I can't say I've ever thought of them like that and I've never heard that line of thought, but if you say so.

If you win the division you can only win 11 playoff games...

90% of the Cardinals fans on this site are complete and utter frickfaces. I don't even like talking baseball with them, which is saying a lot. I hate that "our shite don't stink" attitude. I never get that impression when I am in St. Louis in a bar or at the stadium. Only on this site. Pretty pathetic.

I'm guessing some of that comes from your online persona. For months I wondered why you hated STL so much and so often in your posts. It seems like a lot of it was dislike of Tony Larussa from the As/Reds WS of years ago (which I don't get since your team won) and the rest of it was just dislike since the Cards were beating the Reds a lot at that time.

12 in 13= Winning their 12th title in 2013.

They won their 11th in 2011, and had a chance for 12 in 2012. But no happy flight.

Damn, I'm stupid.

When Cardinals fans were saying 11 in 11 in 2011 I assumed it was number of playoff wins and 12 in 12 last year I assumed the same.

I will admit that Tony LaRussa is my most hated figure in all of professional sports. It just so happens that he managed a team in the same division as my favorite team.

I've said it before on this site, and I will say it again. I respect the living hell out of the Cardinals organization. They are what I wish the Reds could be. Great farm system, great major league team, intelligent fans (IRL).

Some of my best friends are lifelong Cardinals fans, and none of them display the arrogance and obnoxiousness that many on this site do. It's just hard to have a decent conversation with people that think they are better than you because the team they follow is better than the team you follow.

Meanwhile Beltran just hit his 10th HR of the season to make it a 9-0 Cards lead.

Well, you might be surprised if you had a beer with me in real life. Your opinion of SECrant Cards fans is wrong.

But I'll play along. I enjoy playing the nemesis!

I've never mentioned the SEC Rant, nor do I go there.

Waste of time.

I feel pretty lucky to have grown up a Cards fan. I haven't lived in STL in 15 years but I still follow them closely and will be a lifelong fan. I can't imagine that would be the case if I had grown up cheering for another team (with a few exceptions). A winning tradition, class organization, and the best fans in baseball make it pretty easy to stay a Cards fan.

Yeah, I was a kid who grew up on baseball in STL in the 80s... which was one heck of a lucky time to do that.
