The next John Riggins. I don't think Riggins was very fast, but he was hard to bring down.

John Riggins was faster than Gale Sayers

John Riggins was a two-time State 60 yard dash Champ and two-time State 100 yard dash Champ.

I loved Skatteboo in College but I don’t see his game translating to the NFL. He's way to slow and doesn’t have elite hands needed to be involved in the passing game.

I think there’s a world where he can become Leveon Bell. Bell was pretty big in college and not as fast. But he had all the skills of receiving. He got a little smaller but faster once he got to the NFL and changed the position. Skatt has similar skill set.

Marion Barber is a pretty accurate comparison. They both have that headhunting running style. I think Skattebo will surprise people, he’s got better hands than people think.

If he’s there in the 4th I’m running to the podium. Worst case, he’s a fullback who can have some H-back versatility. Best case, Marion Barber

Or maybe even 3rd round where he is projected. He is the most sure 3-5 yards I've seen in awhile and has surprising speed to break away for longer ones.

Barber had a nose for the end zone. He'd get those short-yardage TDs

Marion Barber is a good comparison.

Also Marshawn "Beastmode" Lynch....Skatt has a violent running style.

Alstott weighed 250lbs only thing they have n common is skin color.

Reggie White weighed in at 300 and JJ Watt was 295.

You just named a big DE from the 90s and a DE from the same era as Crosby lol.

Crosby weighs more than most of those elite DEs from Riggins era. Alan Page, LC Greenwood, Carl Eller, were all tall and weighed less than 250 lbs.

My son and I watched that Ariz State / Texas game, he nearly won it by himself.

He was the best "football" player on the field and Texas had NFL talent all over.

Leroy could always get you 3 yards if you needed 2. If you needed 5 though.......might get 4.

I say that as a compliment and as a friend of Leroy
