In fairness he’s been oft-injured this year. Not a good enough excuse to bat sub .200 though

Last year was a fluke, and everyone knew it, which is why he didn’t win MVP. They knew he couldn’t keep up that pace year to year.

To think some people had the audacity to mention his name in the same breath as THE JUDGE. I keep receipts.

.247 is pretty shitty.

Ryan Klesko was born in the wrong era.

Not saying I thought he deserved it, but fluke or not, if your stats for the year you are nominated are MVP worthy then you should win it. Why would it being a fluke matter?

It's a single season award.

It’s a single season award but the voters knew he was just a lardass beta male at heart. He had this year to prove them wrong but chose to engage in low test cuck behavior instead.

He looked really out of sync during the WBC. Perhaps a combination of injury, fatigue, and reality that he's not a long-tern elite player.

I mean yes, but…

The pitching is clearly improving due to velocity and break that it’s tough to blame the hitters.

There’s also a strong rumor that MLB was playing with the balls and recently went back to the normal balls that are traveling close to +7’ further than they had previously but obviously we don’t know for sure.

All it takes to realize how much the hitting has been impacted is to play that 162-0 game. Compare the best hitters in the 2020s to the 1960s and the batting averages are insanely different.
