I can’t hire a first year college grad in Houston for less than $60k.

Not if you finished college as the very best at what you do. We aren’t talking general studies major here

yeah I think the WNBA is a disgraceful league but there’s no reason they can’t at least pay 6 figures. 75k is wildly low. Just scrap the league if you can’t afford more than that

Oh the horror. Getting a 4 year guaranteed contract as opposed to having to put your
college degree to use.

Not sure how the 1000s of college grads make it every year.

Her NIL deals were for her exposure in the college game. She will get significantly less exposure in the wbna.

Doesn’t appear so. She just signed an $8 figure deal with Nike and is getting her own shoe.

The WNBA is subsidized by the NBA and for all their lefty bullshite, you won't see any of those players giving up salary to compensate the WNBA players.

Oxymoron.

Ehh, she wants to play in WNBA. Season is about to start there & then she has Olympics. Doesn’t seem like the right time to try Big 3 too, but that doesn’t mean she can’t do it in the future.

She’s still making millions with other sponsor deals. Does it really matter if she has $10M or $15M in the bank next year?

Some would say that 5 million dollars does matter, yes.

Not to your average person.
She didn’t join the WNBA to make $100s of millions of dollars. She will be set for life with 8 figures

Clark should've played another year, endorse every car dealership in Des Moines and then run for Mayor.

Rumor floating around Iowa City is that ESPN and FOX we're offering a $5 million NIL package for her to return to Iowa for her final year. That would be a bargain for them and obviously more money than CC can ever make in the WNBA.

She should have returned to college, but you know the usual suspects would have destroyed her for doing that, saying she's ducking the best competition, etc.

Can ESPN/Fox not show WNBA games? Sounds like bs

She just signed with Nike for a 8 figure shoe deal. They don’t give those to college athletes

Indiana Fever’s first game on 5/14 will be on ESPN2

2nd on 5/16: prime video
3rd on 5/18: ABC
4th on 5/20: ESPN

Maybe FOX was trying to get a deal for her, but still sounds like bs

Endorsements and her brand are worth more. Getting lit up in Big 3 would ruin that. Smart to avoid getting embarrassed

people keep comparing it to Webb, and it’s just a different company. It’s like comparing your local burger chain Managers ti the CEO of McDonalds.

That being said, Clark could potential drive rating in a way I do ‘t think Wemby will.

the absolute WORST thing that could happen to the WNBA is Clark being average.
