Forget comparing her salary to men...
Caltin Clark - $1900 per game (CBS/ESPN Contracts)
Cast of MILF Manor - $2500 per episode (TLC/Max Contract)
Doesn't even get paid what women get paid

Seems right. However, the cast of MILF MANOR may be underpaid.
Ratings comparison:
TLC's MILF Manor is the #1 unscripted freshman cable series to date with people 25-54/18-34 and women 18-34 and reached more than 10 million P2+ viewers over the course of its first season. Impressively, the series has also accumulated more than 45 million video views across TLC's social platforms.
WNBA:
VIEWERSHIP: Combined viewership for the WNBA across ESPN Networks (ABC, ESPN, ESPN2) and the CBS Television Network was up 21 percent over the 2022 regular season. Viewership across ABC, ESPN and CBS was up eight percent over last season and averaged 505,000 viewers.
The WNBA on ABC averaged 627,000 viewers, making it the most-viewed regular season on ABC in 11 years.

Facts suck. I hate when facts and data get in the way of Muh feelings.

Unfortunately, we live in an age where logic, reason, and the market deciding what succeeds and what fails is over.
While I don't disagree that the WNBA is not a profitable product, the NBA is actively (to my knowledge) choosing to prop them up to avoid market backlash for themselves.
The NBA pays the WNBA an endowment of $15 million per year and from what I've read, the WNBA as an organization was $12 million in the red concerning profit last year.
Even if the NBA foots that loss plus the endowment, it's basically a rounding error for them and their $8 billion in revenue they bring in every year, all to avoid any negative publicity.

Another, pathetic thing, was in a recent interview wherein Caitlin said she hoped her playing would inspire boys and girls.
I don't see anything wrong with Clark's statement. She's trying to generate interest in her sport, which (the lack thereof) is what everyone is complaining about.

why does any of it bother you?
I wish the MLB would prop up a league for women's softball to be played at a more "professional level" than what is now.
If the women's softball league was entertaining enough to enough people it wouldn't need propping up.
I'll watch some SEC softball too, but I also understand not many people watch it and it will not make money or be more popular until more people do watch the sport. That may never happen.
The whole WNBA salary discussion is so ridiculous and illogical. The sport doesn't make enough money. People don't watch it. They are not the NBA. These are all facts we all have known for years.
Also, where is the love for minor league baseball players? They don't make any money... meanwhile their counterparts in the majors are making the most money in any sport aren't they?? Why not make some of that money go to the minor league players if we want all this equity for people.
Sorry, Chad, not all that was a reply to you. I went off the rails a bit..

Just wait. I predict that within the next 3 years, there will be a movement to have the government subsidized the WNBA (and then a list of other irrelevant female sports).

I'm blabbing about how Clark's salary reveals that all WNBA salaries are basically a Corporate version of Communistic State-subsidized employment.
This is easily reflected by the "set" salaries....the league is manufactured.
In a free open capitalist market, with a demand.... Salaries would be more than 75 grand.
But there's no eyeballs on the TV....for the WNBA...so the Corporate State like Communism, gives everyone a job but sets the salary rate.

Certainly Clark would make a lot more, and many players would. The owners can't help themselves so these leagues set up salary caps so that they don't out spend their revenue as much as the owners would try to.
Happened in MLS for a long time as well. The first league went (basically) bankrupt from overspending for players trying to win.
Lebron would get way more in an open market (at least in his prime), as would many superstars.

And when that doesn’t happen what other nonsense will you predict?

Clark is signing a deal with Nike for 8 figures and is getting her own shoe.
