Christian Laettner was on the Dream Team, Clark being left out is a slap in the face. The people that run women’s basketball are dumb as hell. They finally got,white people to watch a shitty sport and just want them to go away.

Brittney Griner, who refused to stand for the national anthem, was selected despite playing ONE game this year. She scored 11 points.

Y'all are too stupid too realize y'all are making it immensely harder for Caitlin adapt and adjust to being a professional player. People including the players don't hate Caitlin, they hate her stupid fans who've never even watched women's basketball before but have so many opinions. Let her continue to grow as a professional player and earn her stripes. When you proclaim someone a "God/Savior" the natural things a human will do is it destroy that ideology. Caitlin life is probably miserable and it's because of her stupid fans making these non stories turn into these huge media storm. It puts everyone around her in a difficult position. She will be on the Olympics team, just not this year.
It's no different than dumb LeBron fans.

Also, when all her fans are superfans and bullies..yeah the players aren't going to be as welcoming to her. Who would be?
You remember when Aaliyah Boston missed the game tying shot and received all the hate mail from Caitlin fans.
Or when reese did the can't see me thing (the same thing Caitlin did) and receive horrible backlash.
Who wants to be surrounded by a person who has that much negativity and media frenzy attached to them.
It's a direct result of her crazy "fans".

I don't think race plays into it as much as just pure jealousy of all of the attention and money Clark has received. There are 4 white women on the olympic roster.
In the minds of the vets and others that have come before her, Clark hasn't earned all of the attention.
