Just curious... are the Chiefs Texas Tech fans' favorite team? Are there any other CFB fanbases who pull for an NFL team based on a specific former player?

At least Burrow has NFL talent. If you really wanted to see cult like behavior you should have been on Shaggy Bevo between 2006 and 2016 and watched how Longhorn fan cuddled up to Vince Young's scrotum every NFL season. To this day over there the four worst words you can type are Bob Stoops and Jeff Fisher.

The whole thing is a bit odd to me. There is a large segment of LSU fans that straight up worship Burrow which I think is a little cringey. Then there’s a portion of other fans that hate Burrow because of what he did at LSU and that’s amplified by the Burrow worshipers. So when he finally loses we get this mess.

You can't even take an hour of ribbing? It's gonna be a rough few months for the LSU Bengals. Burrow is becoming a guy who has trouble getting it done in the biggest NFL momemts.

These people hating on those that root for Burrow (on a pro LSU site) are pretty pathetic. I think that's far worse than pumping a particular player. Never bothered me when people praised Cam. It wouldn't bother me if a pro-Bama site was pumping Tua. They should deal with it. Instead they rather circle jerk to hating on Burrow fans. How sad.
