It must be a bunch of old frickers downvoting everyone in this thread who is unfamiliar with the term.
At this point if you don’t watch older movies then it’s possible you’ll never hear it. My friends and I saw it edited in a story as “g****” and none of us could come up with it. I have heard it before in movies, but I think it’s largely just faded away imo.
ETA: read more of the comments...why are some of y’all so weirdly insistent that someone DOES know a word

Maybe one neighborhood or gang used it, but it is not common at all

Odd thing is, if it wasn’t for black Americans the n word would go the same way as the “k word” and “g word”

"asian" is definitely a slang term in miami and south florida. Highly doubt he even realized it was a racial slur from Vietnam. Also he should be more self aware
