Bringing Steph out the stands for those half court shots.....Seemed a bit unfair

Watched it live and thought it was such a lose/lose situation if he failed to make it.

I liked the sentiment of raising the money, but he was put in such a shite situation unless he actually made it.

Just didn't sit right with me.

I'd bet Curry knew about it beforehand....but yeah he probably didn't expect to miss a routine shot for him like that 9x in a row

Dude, they all knew what was gonna happen...before it actually happened. You thought that was spontaneous?

Of course not.

I just thought it was a bad bet in terms of the optics

Well...Steph is getting destroyed on Twitter. But he and Turner was banking (no pun intended) on him hitting at least one shot given his track record. I'm sure he was confident he could knock down one.

At least they had a back up plan with Craig's son and Shaq

I guess my point was it was bad PR despite the good PR they were doing....atleast that was what I thought while watching Steph miss.

Like I said, regardless if it was obviously planned, I just think it was stupid to put that kind of pressure on him.

They didn't expect that first group to go 13/40.

You really believe he was under any sort of pressure?

Everyone shits on Lebron and makes excuses for Curry.

Curry killed Craig Sager, deal with it.

Face it, Curry is just not good in big moments with the spotlight on him.

It was like watching a train wreck, but I couldn't look away.

Well he said he expected to make it within 3 shots. Seems pretty routine to me.
