Soooo, you’re saying they both played for the Braves.

Stick to telling everyone, who doesn’t give a shite, what you ate for lunch.

I can get there quicker.

B-Mac started in 2005. Julio Franco was on that team.

Julio played with Neikro in Cleveland in 1986.

Neikro played with Aaron.

Mickey Mantle entered the league in 1951.

He was still in the league when Nolan Ryan entered the league.

Chipper Jones entered the league when Nolan Ryan was still in the league and retired in 2012.

So technically speaking, Nolan Ryan could have potentially pitched against guys like Mickey Mantle who played in the 40's and 50's and also players like Chipper Jones who retired just a few years ago. And he just missed Alex Rodriguez by 1 year. Alex Rodriguez entered the league in 1994 and retired in 2016.

Suck on that one for a while.

I wonder if I can do Jeter to Ruth.

Jeter -> Mattingly (95)
Mattingly -> Guidry (82)
Guidry -> Munson (75)
Munson -> Pepitone (69)
Pepitone -> Berra (62)
Berra -> DiMaggio (46)

Nope, can only get to DiMaggio

Julio's MLB debut was with Bill Robinson in his final MLB season in Philly in 1983. (Pete Rose was also on this team at age 41... could be a lot of Julio Franco - Pete Rose connections...)

Bill Robinson's MLB debut was in 1966 with Atlanta with Hank Aaron.

Lol looking for this I found Babe Ruth to Michael Jordan
quote:

Ruth played with Elburt Fletcher on the 1935 Boston Braves. Fletcher was teammates with Del Crandall on the same team 14 years later. Crandell later played alongside Rico Carty, who was teammates on the 1979 Toronto Blue Jays with Danny Ainge. When Ainge switched to the NBA, he eventually played on the 1991 Portland Trail Blazers with Ennis Whatley, who had been with the Chicago Bulls during Michael Jordan’s rookie season.

The Reds are great team to play 6 degrees with

From 1970-2004 the Reds had just two shortstops-
Dave Concepcion and Barry Larkin

Pete Rose was a rookie with the Reds in 1963, was team mate of Joe Nuxhall who started his career in 1944 @ 15 years old. Rose finished his career in '86 with Barry Larkin.

Nuxhall, Rose, and Larkin cover 60 years, 1944-2004

1 degree of Vlad Jr

Vlad Jr is the son of Vlad Sr who played in the majors for a long time and didn't teach his kid English.
