Shelley works for the college of nursing why it's a tittle 9 issue.

If he gets fired it is because Ohio state is more worried about sjw than making the school money.

Mcmurphy isn't a dirt bag. Because he is unemployed at the moment he can take risk others can't

This post is a great example of how perspective blurs reality.

Uh

Paraphrasing "I do not have a direct text message from Urban Meyer to anyone that says he knows about it,"

into

'I do not have [proof] Urban Meyer knew' is unbelievably dishonest and should get that writer fired

While a somewhat safe assumption, that's hack reporting
How so?

He simply reported information he had that was absolutely newsworthy.

He reported URBAN KNEW, not he probably knew based on texts to his wife from the alleged victim.

He glossed over his assumption in order to present a bigger headline.

He also reported that Smith was arrested in 2015, which was incorrect, then changed the story after the Urban press conference a couple of weeks ago. He didn’t issue any redaction or clarification but Facebook tracks changes so some people discovered it over the weekend.

Sure. You would probably do the same too.

I think any fanbase would be collectively doing that with a coach of this type.

I don’t think minor inaccuracies in McMurphys story are going to set Urban free when in the big picture everything has been right on

I mean it would be a very Urban Meyer thing to do, this is the same guy who had Cam Newton, Aaron Hernandez and Zeke Elliott on his teams and was permissive outwardly to their BS, an earned reputation of talent over integrity and stuff like that

Well yes, he said that, but Urban said he did know, so its pretty much a moot point right now.

Yeah, it's kind of a weak gotcha when Urban's admitted it.

Also, all McMurphy says is that he does not have a text message to or from Urban. There are still the texts where others say Urban knew and no one's ever said there were texts to or from Urban directly.

OK. But the details will be important when it comes to firing him or not.

IMO, Urban's future depends on the circumstances of his reporting, assuming he's telling the truth about elevating the issue.

If there's record of him directly notifying either his superiors or HR, he stays. If his claim about reporting is a euphemism for "encouraging" someone else to report, I think his future is less certain.

With his success at OSU, I think it will take a LOT to fire him.
