From my connections at Ohio State a statement should be coming this week that there will no suspension.

No proof.

As I've been saying, there's a reason he's unemployed

Well yes, he said that, but Urban said he did know, so its pretty much a moot point right now.

He had circumstantial evidence that urban knew

Urban then admitted to knowing

McMurphy is a dirtbag. The further this goes, the more apparent that is.

Irrelevant, Meyer claimed he knew in his statement all McMurphy did was provide circumstantial evidence

And then Meyer said in his statement that he did know. So your whole OP is moot.

Yes. McMurphy has questionable jouralism. He’s the biggest dirtbag in this whole thing

Continues to ignore Urban Meyer not kicking a domestic abuser off his coaching staff

Second. Assuming the allegations are true, I'd say Zach Smith takes the win.

Obviously you don't....

I don't like Urban one bit...think he was a scumbag of the highest order a long time before this crap ever came out..........

But I actually believe his statement that he directed an investigation and did everything above board according to university protocol

When I was reading the original post on FB and the part was mentioned about several people coming to visit her in 2009 to beg her not to press charges...that shows you how deep the pockets and connections go with Smith (alleged abuser). I'm almost positive it is no coincidence that a couple weeks after Bruce died, Smith was canned. I think the blame goes way higher up the chain with tOSU's "good ole boy" network of boosters and what not (every school has them, and each school has trustees and some ADs and even HCs that accommodate the network)

You have a point there but if Meyer complied with Title IX regulations you really think OSU fires him and risk losing relevance in the championship chase and to Michigan? As bad as this looks currently, people will forget this once the season starts and OSU starts winning the brand’s too big to be taken down by a scandal like this, it isn’t the scope of Baylor and Penn State let’s be honest.

Yes, but McMurphy didn't know before running with this. At the time the extent of his knowledge was a text asking Urban's wife to talk to him about it.

While a somewhat safe assumption, that's hack reporting by someone trying to put their name back on the map.

I mean evidence that Urban's wife knew is pretty damn good evidence that Urban knew.

Maybe not enough to use in court but definitely good enough to report on

Short of stone cold proof Urban had 1st hand knowledge and did nothing he isn’t going anywhere.

I mean I could see somebody having stone cold proof and him still keeping his job.

But that's not what I'm talking about. I'm saying he had enough evidence to make it a story without it being "hack reporting"
