It's actually for the better. No one really likes driving all the way over to Glendale to watch them or the Cardinals. A new home in the east valley will probably increase attendance.

I believe I read once that the hang up with Houston hockey was a lease situation with the Toyota Center and former Rockets owner Les Alexander, who had some control in the arena. Not sure if he still does.

Fertitta is MAGA and Texas is a red state. 0 chance the media lets the Coyotes move to Houston with Fertitta as owner.

I don't see them leaving. Bettman has always wanted them there. If Houston ever gets a team it will be expansion.
