they game the system

By winning all their games?

they avoid playing a tough schedule

Because they are not in BSC Conference? It's not a video game, can't just snap you fingers and have it happen.

quote:

they have the attitude of the entitlement generation. they expect things handed to them they didn't earn

They play ball just like Texas did in 2004 and every team does.

quote:

they also hired a PR firm to bitch indirectly via the media

Sounds like a good investment if it gets results.

quote:

BSU is exactly the type of program that a true American should hate

Because they find a way to get theirs and not wait in line for the powers that be to tell them they're okay? Sounds perfectly American to me.

Oh come on...The conference you affectionately refer to as the two team conference?

For what it's worth, BSU has an open date on 9/3/11...someone else I know has one on that date as well.

By winning all their games?

by not playing anyone on purpose and scheduling fricking 1AA schools to fill out their schedule

they do just enough to slide into the BCS system that is slanted in favor of giving 1 spot to a non-BCS team

there is a reason they didn't make it in over Utah in 2008 and why TCU was ahead of them in 2009

quote:

Because they are not in BSC Conference?

in the 4 games they have to schedule outside of their conference schedule

they play fricking 1AA teams for christ's sake

quote:

can't just snap you fingers and have it happen.

they refuse top 25 program offers

quote:

They play ball just like Texas did in 2004 and every team does.

they avoid playing a real schedule and expect to be taken seriously and given BCS money they didn't earn

quote:

Sounds like a good investment if it gets results.

it won't matter until they grow balls and schedule like Fresno has

quote:

Because they find a way to get theirs and not wait in line for the powers that be to tell them they're okay?

BSU is a leach program

it does not generate revenue, but it expects a piece of the pie that revenue producers created

BSU does almost everything it can to avoid playing a tough schedule, but they bitch like they are an SEC team. they bitch more than AU did in 2004.

the MWC is typically a 2-team conference also

but instead of UT and OU, it's 2 of BYU, TCU, and Utah

Boise's future schedule

2011

9-3 @ Mississippi
9-10 Wyoming
9-17 @ Toledo
9-24 Tulsa
10-1 Utah

2012

9-1 Miami OH
9-15 @ Oregon State
9-22 Brigham Young
9-29 @ Utah

but BYU doesn't even count now since they are moving to the MWC and they has Wazzu in 2016 lined up really looks like they are branching out

yea so basically they are leaving the NW just once to take on a mid tier SEC team which should put them in their place

if VT does beat BSU i hope the pollsters KILL them and drop them into the 20s or unrank em

they are rated so ridiculously high right now that even if they lose to VT, they will likely be able to slide into a BCS game

that is the next big argument, and it will be so fricked up if a 1-loss nonBCS school makes a BCS game

when Bowden first built FSu they played mostly in Tallahassee

This is unture. Bowden started at FSU in 1976, his first 3 years they played 5 home games and 6 road. His first home game as FSU coach was on OCTOBER 2, 1976, it was their 4th game and week earlier they were at Oklahoma.

LINK

In 1980 they played 7 home games, but did play at LSU and Nebraska. In 81 they had 5 strait road games, ready for this: Nebraska, Ohio State, Pitt (an elite program at the time) Notre Dame, LSU
LINK
Lets see Boise play just 2 of those teams.
