Blake Griffin is kind of a dork - this is totally something that would happen to him.

And meanwhile his ex is way more famous, is dating a total loser, and he wouldn’t have had to pay a dime if he had knocked her up instead bc she makes more than he does.

Blake Griffin has to pay $258,000/mo in child support. That's $3,096,000/yr and more than what 6 of his teammates will make this season.

He should get a full breakdown of expenses, and any for every dollar not used directly for the kids, he should get to kick her once in the ovaries.

258k per month in child support.

Yet majority of the world can raise 3 kids with 1/3 of that a year.

I hate this world sometimes.

You think guys intentionally make less money, so they pay less in child support?

i am a lawyer who used to do contested custody and still dabbles

this 100% happens

it also rewards illegal/cash employment (that also comes into play with things like section 8, food stamps, medicaid, etc)

That is a ridiculous amount of money for child support. Does it also include alimony?

one of my buddies is preparing to get bent over and he's been trying to find ways to "make less"

I feel bad for him. His ex makes 3x more money than he does

It can be a cruel world for the decent guys that actually love their children. I know a respiratory therapist that got cheated on, he kicked her out, and now has to fork out over 600 a month and still doesn’t get to see his son much. I’m sure he wants to make sure the needs of his boy are met but it’s still not right imo.

For those keeping count that a 56 million dollar kid over the course of 18 years

Getting traded out of California was probably a great move in hindsight

Until the system stops rewarding broken homes, the honest good guys that have whore wifes will take the brunt of the beating in the system.

There are times the judge will issue sweet justice and when it happens it is so sweet...like a ripe Georgia peach in July.
